Emailing the agent

We write the email. You send it from your own Mail app, so it comes from you. We don't add our name or copy ourselves in.

Writing the email

Tap "Email the agent" on a home's page or in Viewings. Add the agent's first name and email. Under About you, add a short sentence about where you stand, and your name. Agents reply faster to buyers who say where they stand. Leave it blank if you'd rather not.

Your budget and Agreement in Principle amount never go into emails.

If Mail isn't set up on your phone, tap "Copy the email", send it from your own email, then tap "I've sent it".

How many questions

Agents help buyers who seem serious, but too many questions at once can put them off. So the number grows as you show interest:

You can tick or untick any question. If you saw several homes with the same agent in the last couple of days, one email can cover them all.

Not for you

For a home you scored 4 or lower, you can send a short, polite note saying it's not for you. It keeps you on the agent's list for similar homes. It's free.

Paste the agent's reply

When the agent replies, copy their email and tap "Paste the agent's reply". We match each answer to the questions you sent and sort them into: answered, they'll find out, they don't know, after an offer, didn't answer, and not in this reply. One reply can cover several homes. The email itself isn't kept.

Matching uses AI, so the first time you tap "Sort it", the app asks first. Tap Not now and nothing is sent; you can still mark answers yourself on each question. See "Using AI" in Privacy.

Following up

Three working days after you send, you can follow up on what's still unanswered. The follow-up is shorter and only asks what's still open. You can follow up with the same agent once a week.
